First time out on the flow. Phil, Geoff, Ian and 3 others out on sails around the 5.7 mark.
I opted for the 6.3 as it looked a bit marginal at times.

First run out was awful and everything needed altering. Did a few tweaks and then all was ok. The board felt fast and I had some pretty quick runs and gybing wasn't to bad either. Messed up my first coupla gybes by getting my footowork wrong on a new baord and then I gradually improved.

I ventured out past the lighthouse to join Geoff and Phil for the rest of the session where the were more defined rolling waves instead of the horrible messy chop.
The wind picked up as well so I pulled into the shoreline and cranked loadsa downhaul on with quite a bit of outhaul. The setup was then perfect again for half an hour until the wind died but I couldnt be ared with any more tweaks so kept on going until dusk.
Not a bad day overall, the wind was a bit up and down. I probably coulda got away with the 5.7.
